Paramount Builders cleans hotel grounds
Tuesday,
June 23, 2009
The Development Bank of American Samoa has selected Paramount Builders to clean up the Rainmaker Hotel property.
The company had the winning bid for the job, which is funded with a grant from the Community Service Block grant Program. DBAS president Lolo Moliga said the company’s bid was actually higher but through negotiation they were able to reduce it to $50,000. Paramount Builders will remove the old Rainmaker Hotel fales near the swimming pool and clean up the hotel grounds. After the clean up work, the bank plans to hire a contractor to maintain the hotel grounds on a regular basis.
The scope of work for the contract to write up a tourism master plan for American Samoa, awarded to BSB Designs of California calls for redevelopment of the Rainmaker Hotel.
