NOAA trains enforcers of fisheries laws

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NOAA is helping improve local capacity for enforcement of federal fisheries laws.
This week officers of the Department of Marine and Wildlife Resources and the NOAA Law Enforcement Office are being trained by a NOAA attorney to better equip them to spot violations, gather evidence and help prosecute offenders of fisheries laws.
Senior Enforcement Attorney Alexa Cole from the NOAA office in Hawaii is the instructor.
