Two Samoa hold environment summit

Protection of marine and land resources is the focus of an environment summit between the two Samoa.
A six member delegation from the South Pacific Environment Program., Samoa’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and Ministry of Agriculture, and Fisheries are attending the 2 day summit. Local agencies represented are Marine and Wildlife, Department of Commerce, Environmental Protection Agency and National Park Service. Faleafaga Tony Tipamaa, leader of the Samoa delegation said the two Samoa share the same environmental challenges.
