The School Lunch Program is gearing up for Children Nutrition employee appreciation next Week.
Three special events have been planned to show appreciation to the close to 200 cooks employed by the Department of Education. Acting Director of the School Lunch Program Faafetai Hunkin Seumanu is asking parents and students to help make the week special for the staff who prepare school meals daily. On Monday a pin and apron with the theme for the week will be distributed. On Wednesday cooks will receive a tray with several beverages and cookies and on Friday all cooks will receive a candy lei and a certificate of appreciation
