Pago Pago Village Council donates pillows and sheets

The Pacific Arts Festival Committee today received its first donation of pillows and bed sheets.
The Pago Pago Village Council today handed over 500 pillows and 200 sheets to the committee. High Chief Asuega Faamamata and Rep. Fiasili Haleck represented chiefs, and orators of Pago Pago in making the donation. Co Chairs of the Festival Committee Mrs. Leala Pili and Fagafaga Daniel Langkilde expressed the committee’s gratitude to the Pago Pago Village council and expressed the hope that other villages, churches, women's fellowships and organizations will follow Pago Pago's example. They said that the bedding would help greatly with the accommodation of participants at Kananafou, Tafuna Elementary and the Tafuna ECE Center. Fagafaga told KHJ News that more than 2000 pillows and two sets of sheets and pillow cases for 2000 people are needed.
