ASG is spending more than it is collecting

According to Treasury’s monthly financial review for the month of February, ASG spending was still outpacing revenue collection.
For every $1 collected, the government was spending $1.32, actual revenues collected for the month of February was $4.7 million. Actual expenditures totaled $6.2 million. Customs raked in $1.6 million, an increase over customs collections for February of 2007 when $1.2 million was collected. The Tax office collected $1.1 million, which was about the same amount it raised in February of last year. The Revenue Division collected $300,000, a slight increase over its February 2007 collections of $284,000. Port Administration raised $255,000, a marked improvement over its earnings from February of last year, of $148,000.
