Dedication of festival village

In other festival news, once the fale at Utulei Beach are blessed and dedicated on Thursday afternoon, they will house the tattooing by Suluape and Ioane Su’a.
About a dozen men and women have been tattooed in the last few weeks and the completion and celebration for some of them are timed for the beginning of the festival. The Festival Committee invites the public to a prayer service tomorrow at the Congregational Christian Church of American Samoa in Fagatogo. The prayer service will be led by Rev. Elder Ned Ripley and hymns will be sung by the Territorial; Choir who will perform the theme song for the festival.
